Would it be faster to buy iPhone 17/ iPhone 17 Pro in person than deliver? With the new iPhone line being released this Friday I've tried to pre-order one but realised it would take until early-mid October to buy it. How likely is it I'd be able to get the phone in person the weekend of/ the weekend after the release day if I bought it straight from the apple store?

You can pick it up based on the available date provided when placing the order. You can also contact the store you plan to pick up from to see if they hold orders for a certain timeframe.
