Can the card only work on 1 device?

I’m having the issue where Apple will not allow me to add my bank card to Apple Wallet for no sensical reason, I get the same thing as others have before “Card Not Added, Contact your card issuer for more information.” in doing so I find there is absolutely nothing wrong with it on the card issuers end, just another one of apples elaborate strange schemes. Maybe, does anyone know if it could be that Apple will only allow you to use Wallet on one device? I don’t actually know.

iPhone X, iOS 15

Apple does not approve/deny cards when they are added to your Wallet. That is done by the bank that issued the card and why you have seen the message to contact the card issuer. I have the same card on 2 devices using the same Apple ID, so it it not a limitation on Apple's part. You will need to resolve the issue with your bank to determine why that card was not approved when you attempted to add it.
