Software update issues with macOS Sequoia

I updated iMac M1 2011 & MBP 2021 to macOS Sequoia - after which neither connected wirelessly. Spent 4-5 hours on phone with Apple trying to figure out why with no solutions. Updated Netgear mesh router to latest firmware and software. Even when macOS Sequoia showed connection no web pages pulled up. Apple had me do macOS Recovery basically reinstalling Sequoia (failed). I suspect ESET Cyber Security Pro for blocking access through software firewall.

Does anyone have any ideas or similar issues? Sequoia requires WPA2 personal.

I had the same issue...

Here is how you need to proceed.

As you still don't have any connection due to ESET after the update of MacOS to Sequoia, go to your System Setup/Network/VPN and filters/

then delete all the ESET line shown on your screen

You should have your internet connection back to normal.

You have to uninstal your former ESET protection from your application folder.
Go to this link ESET upload : https://www.eset.com/be-fr/professionnels/download/endpoint-security-mac/
Then you have to install it on your new macOs Sequoia
Then you have to allow MacOs to use and install all extension : go there to proceed : https://support.eset.com/en/kb7636-allow-system-extensions-for-your-eset-product-for-mac#sequoia
Then everything will work.

Your display panel is starting to fail. It's hardware not software. You need a repair.

Another reason to use a VPN is so I may support my 30+ clients that use it and then call me when it doesn't work.

I’m not sure which assumption is not helpful. The FACT that an update can break VPN is just that. It isn’t an assumption. And the solution is to delete the VPN profile and reinstall it.

Me too. Safari hangs and chrome won’t even launch now…. Imac destop. Don’t have any VPN that can detect. Safari won’t launch in safemode either

I use neither of those apps, however, I have ~300 3rd party apps, and I haven’t had issues with any of them. Have you contacted Adobe?
