Hey everyone,
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I'm thinking of updating it to iOS 18. Before I do that, I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with this update on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Are there any known issues or performance problems I should be aware of? Would you recommend going ahead with the update, or should I wait?

I propose to anyone with iPhone 13, to wait quite a while before he downloads IOS 18 or 18.1. I did a mistake, and did download it, and immediately had issues. Many calls in, go straight to some unknown answering machine. quite a few function do not work, the screen get stuck quite frequently . After taking my sim card to a spare iPhone for a few days, I received a msg from apple that iOS 18.0.1 would add the necessary patches to repair the faulty functions. I made another mistake, downloaded iOS 18.0.1, almost nothing changed. So wait until all bugs are well solved

My battery is draining really fast and now only at 80%optimization and it worked just fine before I downloaded the new update why is it draining my battery so fast?
I have a 13 Pro Max and and now I have the 17.7 but the 18 just came out and I don’t know if it’s safe so I have to wait a few days I guess but the 17th is fine
I’m using iPhone 13 Pro and I’m still using iOS 17 I really want to update it to the latest iOS 18 but I really want to know if it will be a good idea or not please help me out here
It’s just the worst new layout of iOS and apple I have EVER seen and I’m a fundi with iPhone I’ve had mine since the very first IPhone
Yeah its safe if u want a almost unusable phone the new update is full of bugs i have the 15 pro max 1tb in about to downgrade to 128gb with the note 24 ultra in when i have it on carplay it is useless itll not work then go to carplay screen then to bluetooth then back to my phone plays music while on a calls ill be switching back to android soon as i am able to upgrade my son has the 13 pro max in soon as i updated his phone for him he started having issues with it the apple music app is almost unusable 90% of the time on both our phones apple is aware of this and not doing anything to fix it the 18.2.1 update didnt do one thing to improve anything whatsoever the apple intelligence is pretty much useless everything that it does i could do before on my galaxy note 10+ years ago i definitely wouldn’t recommend the update to anyone apple is forcing me to have 1k+$ paperweight in don’t allow it to be downgraded cause apple is trash in they try control everything you do on a phone you’ve already paid for i wished I would have never updated
