iOS 18 Privacy & Security settings freeze

If I can help you : I find a solution !

This is not a problem with language, it's a text size problem.

Workaround : Go to Settings > Display and Brightness > Text size :

Change text size (increase or decrease size) and try again openning "Safety and Security" tab.

I try different language, it fixes this issue. I will report it to Apple in Feedbox.

This solved my problem. Thank you very much, I had enlarged my text size. By making it back smaller privacy and security reopened again.

I had the same issue with Italian language.

Actually, I switched Apple Intelligence language to English, might have started there..

Just reducing font size a bit made solve this issue.

Thanks!!! This worked for me!! Setting the size at 110% freezes the Privacy & Security setting. Other sizes seem to work fine.

I confirm this issue.

Privacy and safety tab in Settings won’t open when iOS language is set to French.

Workaround (as already explained) : set iPhone language to English.

I still have the same problem on iPad Pro 11" M1 2021, but not on iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Both are updated to iOS 18.0.1, language is Italian.

the same for the Romanian language, ios 18.2 did not solve this problem..

if I set the language to English, everything is ok..

When I try to open the "privacy and security" tab, the "settings" application crashes.

The language of my device is French (France).

I'm on an iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 18.0.1.

Leaving aside the solution, I notice that a lot of time has passed and this problem is not solved even in ios 18.3.1, I did not expect that an iPhone 16 pro that costs a lot, would have such problems that would not be solved by Apple.
