Hi all, I updated my iPhone to iOS 18 last night and since then some of my apps have turned white like this: When I click on the folder it fixes itself but when I don’t have the folder open it looks like this. I have rebooted my phone but no luck. Is anyone experiencing the same issue ?

I had the same exact issue after getting my new phone on IOS 18. I found somewhere on reddit that if you drag one of the apps out of that folder and place it on the home screen, then put the app back in that folder, then all oof the apps in that folder will show again when minimized. This worked for me, hopefully it works for you as well.
After installing version 18.1.1 the background of all my desktop icons turned black.For me fix was long press on desktop to enter edit mode, then with icons wiggling on the top left there’s an edit button, click the customize option, then on bottom left there’s an icon that says light.
Oh no, now I lost my About icon!
Had same issue after 18.1.1 update luckily restarting my phone fixed it, which instead they show up like this they go back to normal if I take dark mode off

Q: Have you done a hard reset & if that does not work use the edit feature yet? It may be inadvertently defaulting to a white color.
Restarting my iPhone also fixed it, but only for a day or so. Started noticing it happening again at random. Kind of annoying.
This only worked for a few days and it's back to doing it again. I tried the restore from backup from my MAC as I have plenty of storage and force restarting did not work.
Same issue here after 18.1 update. Not happy having to restart phone. Come on Apple don’t you check this stuff before you unleash it?
Did hard reset, turned it off and on, still the same problem. Glitch and faulty software upgrade me thinks.
65gb of space. Same issue second screen white folders. Another hard set. Issue comes back.
Force restart and a restore only worked temporarily. I have over 250Gb of storage available in my phone too.
This worked for me and is much quicker than dragging each app out and back into the folder tile!

when i updated to 18.1.1, my dock had 3 new dock apps in it 🤬 and my three pages of apps were restricted to 2 thus completely covering my kitty, toby--😤
