Why is this changed in iPadOS 18? Why do downloaded files go to the Downloads instead of the offline download iPad folder? Can someone explain why this has changed? (See pic).
iPad
You can choose the default location for downloaded files within iPad settings:
Settings > Safari > [General] Downloads - select from iCloud Drive, On My iPad or Other...
If you select Other, you can choose any folder to which you can navigate.
If you're downloading with Safari, go to Settings -> Apps -> Safari. Tap on Downloads. You should be able to change where you want downloads to go there.
If you're downloading with something other than Safari, post what you're using and someone may have additional suggestions.

The settings for Safari in iOS 18 are under Apps now, not directly under Settings. Just FYI.
