Contacts disappeared after IOS 18 update.
I just used to IOS 18 and most of my contacts have disappeared. What happened to them and can I get them back.?

Time to revert back to old fashioned wheeladex or address book...Unreal!

I just went to mail in the settings and made sure I was signed into all of my email accounts. I also made sure that the toggle for “Contacts” under each account was on.

My contacts are messed up too, after the 18 update. I have contacts from five years ago but not recent ones. Wth! All I did was do the update and this happens. Aren’t the updates suppose to be tested first? I’m surprised at Apple. I hear there’s no fix?? I’m very disappointed.
Your contacts are attached to your email account. Ensure that your email accounts are set up and that contacts is toggled on.
