I’m trying to access iMessages from 18 months ago on my iPhone. I have my iMessages set to keep forever. When I scroll to try to get to the date I’m looking for, I can only make it to early August 2023 before it glitches and goes to a black screen and then it takes me back to the most current texts. Any help on how to access?

You can try searching using "2023" OR you can search for "February" & see if those results help you.
You may also want to try using a "Spotlight" search by limiting the search to an app.

Wondering if you have enough free storage space (ie: at least 8Gb free) in which your iPhone can operate smoothly. (If not, it is wise to back up all your data before making space) See:

Thank you. Unfortunately, I have tried that but have been unsuccessful in finding what I need. I know the timeframe, so I’m hoping to figure out a way to look at a week’s worth of texts from 2/2023. Any other ideas?
