I've read some posts in this community reporting that the cursor behaves erratically, changing its position inadvertently. That's not my case. The cursor remains where it should, but when there is enough text to extend beyond the window height, the window scrolls up when any key is pressed. So, the cursor and, therefore, the text you are typing, goes away from sight. If you scroll back to the bottom, you can see the text is correctly typed; the problem is that you can't visualize it while typing, because any key pressed makes the window scroll up again. This seems to happen only when using bulleted/numbered paragraphs. How could this be fixed?

MacBook Pro trackpad and mouse not dragging highlighted text Relatively new MacBook Pro where the trackpad and apple mouse been working fine for a year then recently both stopped highlighting or dragging selected text. Have restarted computer several times, deleted the mouse and reconnected, and followed a suggestion in the existing community help responses to unselect the 'Force Click and haptic feedback' option in the trackpad settings. Both trackpad and mouse now will highlight a single word or the entire line but I still cannot drag the mouse or trackpad to highlight words or sections of text, and also it still will not drag even the highlighted items. Would appreciate advice if anyone knows how I can fix this. Thank you :)

Cursor jumps to end of sentence when typing in safari, etc. How do I stop my cursor from jumping to the end of my text. This happens when I am searching for something in safari on my mac desktop. Very annoying!

Restart the computer in Safe Mode per the directions in the link and then restart it normally and re-test.
