How to Fix iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain After iOS 18?

Since upgrading my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 18 yesterday, I've noticed a significant and rapid decrease in battery performance. The battery is draining much faster than usual, even during periods of minimal usage. I've checked for background processes, optimized settings, and ensured all apps are up-to-date, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this after the update, or is there a recommended troubleshooting step I may have overlooked ?

guys, I just did a downgrade on ios17 I don’t have the ios18 features now but my battery is brilliant, and I can normally use my phone…I can’t believe apple does such a thing on a new phone I mean iPhone 15 Pro came last year on the market how is that considered as old….downgrade to ios17 that is the best you can do…or if you didn’t update don’t to that!

ios17 is really stable and battery and performance are no problem

!!! Do the downgrade fast, while it’s still signed, soon they will remove it !!!

Download iOS 17 File on ipsw.me and restore it on iTunes

IMPORTANT

sync all your data to iCloud, Apps and Home Screen etc. needs to be screenshoted because it’ll be deleted and you can only restore things from iCloud, Backup Restore won’t work only the Data from iCloud will be restored that does NOT include apps and lock/Home Screen wallpapers

Same here my IP15 pro max and especially my Apple Watch Ultra. I can barely make it the whole day. Before the update I could get two days while working out, now I’m at 30% by the end of the day

hello, ive done what you mentuined and this is still happening to my phone. ive lost 10% power from watching a ten minute video on youtube. Im not sure if this is related to a bug or not

Same here my new 15 pro max which i bought 27 days ago was fine and have amazing battery life before ios 18 update now it’s just draining so fast this need to be fixed please i just bought the phone

I also have a problem, I have an abnormal Lock and home screen consumption. It didn't happen before.

buy a new phone this is what they do when the new phone comes out put an update that messes up the old phone by making it slow draining the battery and probably other things as well

This didn’t do anything for me. Tried it. The issue on my 15 PM is that it drains battery excessively when you’re doing anything. When it’s idling it seems decent. So weather widget isn’t it.

So far the Apple support centre has only found one solution, but I don't want to restore my phone without a backup.

I just hope that iOS 18.1 solves this problem.

I’m on iPhone 14 Pro and it’s exact same for me. Battery is way down from before ‘upgrading’ to iOS 18.

Please Apple make this go away it’s not good.
