How to Fix iPhone 15 Pro Battery Drain After iOS 18?

Subject: Urgent Complaint About Severe Battery Drain After iOS 18 Update

Dear Apple Support Team,

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the severe battery drain issue I have experienced on my iPhone 15 Plus after updating to iOS 18. Before the update, my battery usage was consistently between 6-9% per hour, which was perfectly manageable. However, after the update, I am now experiencing an alarming usage of 12-15% per hour, even with similar usage patterns.

This significant drop in battery performance is unacceptable for a premium device, and I am not alone in this. Numerous other customers have reported the same problem, and it is frustrating that Apple seems to be ignoring these complaints. I’ve been a loyal Apple customer for years, but this lack of response to such a widespread issue is pushing me, and many others, to reconsider our loyalty.

If this issue is not addressed promptly with a solution or update, I will be forced to switch to another brand, and I believe many other customers will follow suit. Apple’s reputation for quality and reliability is at stake here, and ignoring customer concerns will undoubtedly lead to a loss of trust.

Please prioritize this issue and provide a solution as soon as possible.

Not sure still how long I need to endure and live with this issue. iPhone used to work well all these years but suddenly after upgrading to iOS 18, phone gets switched off after overheating & I'm disconnected due to battery draining on iPhone 15 plus, unable to use iPhone normally since release of iOS 18. Not acceptable for someone who uses it for official purposes.

Yea same here , battery is draining so fast on iOS 18 , i regret updating my phone, it was stable on 17.6

same issue with iPhone 15 as well, the phone gets heated up too when the battery is draining which is something I have never experienced (increase of temperature in iPhone 15) in the past.

Yep, mine's showing 25% usage from home and lock screen for the past few days.

Well… I upgrade to IOS 18, 5 days ago and the problem it’s present, I think that this is problem to apple in the new software no something like “background”

I don’t have the weather widget on my Lock Screen and my battery is draining like there is no tomorrow .

Same here. The battery on the new Iphone 14 (which was working fine btw) drains sooo fast after the ios18 update and I am not even using the phone that much.
