Since installing iOS 18 on phone and iPad OS 18 I am unable to download apps from the Apple App store. Example is Mactracker which "appears" to download but the icon will not complete. Same happens with other apps (like Candy Crush) - is something wrong with 18 that prevents normal downloading?

If a message says 'Your Media & Purchases account has been disabled' - Apple Support
As I have stated my iPhone is updated and I have no issues downloading from the App Store at this time.

Seemed toll work on iPhone [still 13pro - waiting for 16pro ] not sure about iPad OS - is there a different process for my iPad Pro (M2) 6th generation ?
Still not working with iPad Pro - other apps will not download! I really suspect a problem between 18 and the Apple App Store.
