Can I recover my MacBook data without a backup?

I have a backup from my old iphone 14 pro max that is 84 gb.. i got the 15 pro due to broken gps on the 14. i have the 15 set up already and don't want to reset it. i have an old 64 gb ipad pro and a 64 gb iphone 8. will the 84 gb backup (stored on my macbook) be able to be put on a device, and leave certain items out? or can i do part of the baclup on one device and finish it on the other? thanks!

Sorry, no, a backup restore is all or nothing. You cannot pick and choose, and you cannot restore part of the backup to one device and part to the other. If your new iPhone doesn't have enough storage to be able to accept a backup of that size, then restore will not possible.
