iPhone no longer connects to iTunes after phone update

I'm running iTunes in Windows 10 and connecting with iPhone 11. After a recent iPhone update I did in iTunes, I can no longer get the iTunes to recognize my iPhone so I can't sync anything. First is there a way to fix this?

Second should I just uninstall iTunes and reload the it?

Should I opt for the newer 3 apps for iTunes? Will this automatically recognize my library, and will my library of music, podcasts, and audiobooks stay intact?

Wow alot of interest on this one. Follow up: I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. iPhone still will not connect. I installed iTunes on my laptop and plugged in the phone. It worked. So back to my desktop I ran the Apple Devices App where it appears to connect to the iPhone and actually synced some audiobooks, but not all. It acts very weird.

Ok still can't connect with iPhone 11 via iTunes on PC(Windows 10). After speaking with 3 different Apple techs the last session lasted 3 hours. Biggest issues to emerge was the fact iTunes can no longer be used for music, but they still couldn't tell me why I can't get my Audiobooks this way. Anyway after going through multiple procedures to turn on Family sharing I was able to get my recently bought audiobook downloaded to my iPhone using Apple Devices APP. So I thought I had that at least accomplished; however, as soon as he hung up I realized that the book is on my iPhone, but it will not let me listen to it. Oh and two of the techs did tell me that there are major problems with the Apple Devices App. It's not working at all like it's supposed to since the IOS 18 update.
