Apps on my iPhone crash on opening

It’s iOS 18’s fault. iOS 18 has messed up completely my iPhone 11, it’s pritty slow, it gets very hot and features like Spoken content are not working propperly.

I regret updating to iOS 18, what a harmful update!

It has been a month since I've been experiencing persistent crashes on opening with Instagram, Notion, and ChatGPT. It's becoming quite frustrating. I’ve ensured that both all apps and iOS are up to date. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the apps multiple times, but the issue persists. I have also deleted a lot of apps and pictures to clear storage.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Everything said here has been happening to me as well. Instagram only opens after around 4 tries and facebook the same. Snapchat has almost completely stopped working. I can only get it to work if i delete all of my memories. I can’t save any pictures from snapchat or anything like that or it crashes repeatedly. I’ve done everything I know to do and that google tells me. Nothings worked. And what upsets me the most is that Apple or Anyone hasn’t recognized the issue. It’s obvious that many people are facing this issue and they refuse to not only solve it, but to even recognize it. It’s ridiculous! Apple, fix your system.

and reinstalled the apps. Reset my network settings and all. Nothing fixes it. It happening right after the launch of iPhone 16 is probably why. I need my phone for business

Same! This is so frustrating. My apps are constantly crashing or running slowly. I had to delete and re install cash app the other day to get it to work. Most apps will work eventually if I just keep trying to open them, but it takes like 10+ times

I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro and since the latest iOS update (18.1), have had numerous problems accessing or saving photos in the native photo APP. I’ve tried restarting the phone with no effect. Very frustrating. I’m hoping there is a fix coming soon!

Same here. This started happening just yesterday and with several applications: Moovit, Duolingo, Wise, Paypal. In each case, I deleted the application and the data and reinstalled it, and sometimes I had to open the app 3 or 4 times until it worked.

both my instagram and facebook are crashing on open. Another app i have called “minical” is doing the same thing and its widget is black

Same here, Facebook was crashing too this morning but now it’s ok. Only instagram that keep crashing

Me too! I use Instagram for work. But, Facebook is crashing too!

This started happening to me yesterday with Insta. I've uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled and it still crashes upon opening the app. Today Facebook is now doing the same issue...

Same thing here, since yesterday! Only seems to be with instagram app and Shopify, crashing on open. Tried everything and nothing seems to be fixing it

Instagram keeps crashing. Facebook is crashing too! I might have to go into the store.
