I fixed this on my IOS18 iPhone this morning! I noticed yesterday that all my stickers were gone, and I was unable to make or create new stickers from my photos. This morning, I turned off a setting In keyboard that said send stickers from emoji keyboard. All of a sudden, all my stickers came back and I was able to save stickers successfully again! Good luck out there!

What worked for me is doing a full reset. Backed up my iPhone 16 promax first, Erased all content, then restored the backup. A drastic step but I have tried all other options to no avail. An Apple support person even assisted me before but didn’t solve the problem.

An App that had crashing and freezing problems before was solved after my full reset. Good luck.

Potencial Solution for iOS 18 Stickers Bug:

Step 1: Change to a Numeric Passcode:

  • Open 'Settings' and tap on 'Face ID & Passcode' or 'Touch ID & Passcode'.
  • Enter your current passcode.
  • Choose 'Change Passcode', then select 'Passcode Options'.
  • Opt for 'Custom Numeric Code' or '6-Digit Numeric Code'. Enter and confirm your new numeric passcode.

Why This Helps:

  • The switch to a numeric passcode could resolve any underlying security-related conflicts within the iOS system that might be impacting the sticker functionality.

Step 2: Restart Your iPhone:

  • For iPhones with a Physical Power Button:
    • Press and hold the Side Button until you see the 'Slide to Power Off' slider.
    • Drag the slider to shut down your iPhone.
    • After it's off, press and hold the Side Button until the Apple logo appears.
  • For iPhones without a Physical Power Button:
    • Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
    • Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
    • Then, press and hold the Side Button until the Apple logo appears.

Why Restart:

  • Restarting your device can rectify software glitches by clearing out the active memory and restarting all background processes, which might correct the sticker issue.

This solutions aims to address the specific issue where stickers fail to save or disappear post the iOS 18 update. While changing your passcode to numeric and restarting might seem unconventional, it has been anecdotally effective for some users. If after implementing these steps, your stickers still aren't functioning as expected, be patient as Apple is likely to address this in a forthcoming update. The anticipation is for iOS 18.2, where an official solution to this persistent bug is expected to be included. Keep your device updated to ensure you receive this fix as soon as it's available.
