A good year later, Apple fixed the issue with stickers not working in iMessage. And, it also repopulated with all the previous stickers that were missing. FINALLY!

I fixed this on my IOS18 iPhone this morning! I noticed yesterday that all my stickers were gone, and I was unable to make or create new stickers from my photos. This morning, I turned off a setting In keyboard that said send stickers from emoji keyboard. All of a sudden, all my stickers came back and I was able to save stickers successfully again! Good luck out there!
I actually have an iphone13 where the switch was activated and everything has always worked. And then I have an iPhone 15 pro with the switch deactivated and stickers have never worked. So it is random at best. There seem to be something in the PRo versions?
After going from ios17 to ios18 all my stickys are small when included with text.
Worked with Apple support for 3 months. Still not fixed. When sending stickys by them selves in a text message, they stay large and seeable. Add text and the sticky shrinks to where you can hardly see it.
TERRIBLE FOR APPLE! They cant fix what they broke.

Oh no. I’m sorry it’s still not working for you. None of the other fixes worked for me until I installed IOS 18. I figured they finally fixed it for good. Hope you can figure it out. 🤞🏻
I can load stickers, but the special effects, like borders, are gone. 😕

I never lost the add effects option! The effect just wouldn’t appear when I selected it, and the sticker was moved to a message.

the "Add sticker" option is there . The sticker "briefly" appears in the "stickers" but it quickly disappears and it's not saved. Heavy sigh ...

I’m sorry that many of you still have an issue with the stickers not working. Mine finally began working again after the latest update. I thought they had fixed it properly but apparently not. 😕
i just updated w/ ios 18.1, hoping that will fix the sticer issue but to my disappointment, its the same...
Mine haven’t started working. I had hoped the recent update would fix the problem but it has not. Really disappointed
I’m having the same issue. 16PM running 18.1. Stickers from my old phone didn’t transfer and when I try to add new stickers they show up and then instantly disappear.
Same thing with my 16PM once transferred all my stuff over stickers quit working.
Why is a ‘sticker’ function even mentioned if it doesn’t function. Perhaps it’s intended to antagonise people
