Video Playback on iOS 18 is Broken - Video size is small and timeline ends early when setting video to full frame or zooming in. Serious bug.

What the heck did you do to the video? It shrank overnight and I it was working fine. Even slowing the frame is too fast. Please this asap!!!!!! I use this for work. I have never complained before. It is unacceptable!

i'm certain they do this on purpose. Why who knows but there's no reason why this is even happening unless there are malice agendas at hand. Why is it that talk to text has gotten even worse? I'll be using the feature and going on about something and I'll say the word close for example, however the word open is displayed. It happens with a lot of antonyms. Thats something that has to be written in the code. It is a deliberate non sensical act that apple coders incorporated into the code. Is this fact checked and verified no but how do you do such a thing in this scenario? Just experience and common sense! Stop messing with our phone Apple. What your not selling enough new apple phones? Are you hoping we smash our phones in uttee frustration?

Apple, this was one of the features I use often . To be able to view video frame by frame and take a screenshot of the scene I wanted , but of course after zooming in , I would have to exit completely and open the movie again to be able to go to the shot I want ! If I miss it and the shot ends up being one or two frames on either side , I’d have to start over !

That screenshot is meaningless. It does not mean APPLE is doing anything. In fact it does not mention the fact that the videos have NO properties, and the videos have NO thumbnail. Sorry, but customers have every right to be upset and ready to abandon APPLE. Apple is not helping out.

I don’t have a solution but just wanted to add my voice here so maybe Apple will fix this.

the entire photos UI is worse and I’d like to regress back to iOS 17

I film a lot of video of my workouts and this is just completely not helpful.

And 18.2, whenever it comes out, STILL DOESN'T FULLY ADDESS OR FIX THE ISSUES COMPLAINED ABOUT.

SO "NO" they STILL aren't listening.

When products have updates, they also need to be upgrades (improvements), NOT downgrades.

AND we are STILL waiting on a fix.

This is a genuinely awful upgrade to the Photos app, please please please revert it.

It’s honestly the first change I’ve complained about and one that would mean I’d consider an android when upgrading, after 15 years of having an iPhone.

In photos under iOS 18.5, t the video is totally broken. Just shot videos at an AC/DC concert, played back fine prior to update, now just sound and a black screen! I can see the video is there from the timeline before, but nothing in playback. Really?

Please fix this now, and make sure your fix does’t hose the video content. Cannot believe you put this out knowing this was an issue. It’s a HUGE issue!

since installing ios18 YouTube background play is pausing and stopping everytime I wake the phone up or turn off screen. also CarPlay gets disconnected randomly.
