How can I solve this problem. Cannot update Uber on iPhone 6 as software is too old for new app.

The ONLY solution for the problem is to retire your now 10 year old iPhone in favor of a much newer, more modern iPhone if you want to use the Uber app as well as many many other apps, which the app developers are no longer supporting on such old devices.
Uber app programmers have decided that their app will only run on iOS 16 or higher.
That means that you will need an iPhone 8 or higher model to be able to install the Uber app.
The only way to solve it is to buy a new phone that meets Uber’s requirements.
