Shared iCloud Photos: missing title and caption workaround?

Shared iCloud Photos don't share photo titles or captions. I've no idea why Apple hasn't implemented this simple and helpful feature.

Can anyone suggest a workaround for this? e.g. a third party app or website

I want to be able to share photos with friends that include:

  • title
  • caption
  • location

We're not Apple, so we don't know why they do stuff the way the do. But the answer to your first question seems pretty clear-- when we share pictures with our family, friends, and acquaintances, and then they share with the neighbors, and they all post them to Social Media, most of us are really grateful that the pictures don't have our location, name, phone number, and so on.

One way to give the information is to send a pdf file like this:

I made this in Photos by selecting the pictures, choosing Print and Contact Sheet. You can print different sizes and include lots of stuff under each picture.

Instead of printing on paper, you can save as PDF:

Then you can email the file to the people you want to have the info.
