Does Reduce Loud Audio only work with AirPods after the iOS 18 update?

Hello,

Does Reduce Loud Audio only work with Apple headphones after the iOS 18 update?

Because in the iOS 17 update, it used to show the volume in the Hearing shortcut after I added it to the Control Center, but now it no longer appears, even though I added the Hearing shortcut.

It should work even with iOS 18, here are some ways that may fix your issue 1. Check Settings: Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety and make sure “Reduce Loud Sounds” is still enabled.

2. Re-add the Hearing Shortcut: Sometimes, re-adding the shortcut can resolve display issues. Go to Settings > Control Center and remove, then re-add the Hearing shortcut.

3. Check Your Headphones: Ensure that your headphones are properly connected and recognized by the device.

4. Restart the Device: Restart your iPhone to see if this resets the functionality of the Hearing shortcut.
