Gmail on iPhone 14 Pro and iPad Pro

I have a gmail mail account set up in settings on my iPhone and iPad. I changed my google password and the gmail mail stopped coming in. I am getting the error that there is “no password provided for Gmail”. And to enter a password in Mail Account Settings.

in settings on the iPhone or iPad, there is nowhere to add a password. I read instructions from apple support from a few years ago that you simple need to delete and read the account. When I go to do that, I receive a message that all calendar info and notes will also be deleted. Any help on how to resolve this? I do not want my notes or calendar deleted.

I am using the Gmail app so I can still get my emails.

Yea all of that info is still on google server, it comes back when you add the account back.

You want confirmation, reach out to google about their services.
