How do I fix Bluetooth connection issue on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 18?

iPadOS18.1.1 update did not help as it did not solve this issue. Magic Keyboard keypad and/or Bluetooth mouse do not work well either. One can move the cursor around but no function with right or left buttons.

Didn't make a difference for me. Even my Airpod Pros now won't connect automatically. I need to turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on. Sometimes they then connect automatically, sometimes I need to manually connect them. Very frustrating!!! It all started after v18 upgrade. I'm now on 18.1.1 and still have the problem. Apple fix this!!

I just got a iPhone 16 pro max and Bluetooth doesn’t work and have got a different one of the same phone to see if it was just the phone and now I have the same problem. This needs fixed quick I can’t use my car audio either it won’t connect properly. Is this just an update problem and should I keep this iPhone?

sadly, apple has decided to produce junk and charge us a fortune. EVERY person I know who currently has an Apple device and made the mistake of upgrading to the 18.1 operating system can no longer access all their blue-tooth devices. Let's get real. Apple did this on purpose to force us to rebuy their products. I have never been so disgusted with Apple in my 30years of having an Apple product. Worse, when hundred of thousands of us complain they say NOTHING. They leave up to us in the community to support each other. Who knows when or if they will fix this problem.

A lot of these are older posts, has anyone had any luck resolving the issue? My phone will let me use hands free on the steering wheel and makes call hands free but says it just says "source not available" when I try to connect the phone for use of music.

Yes, I’ve been experiencing the same problem and it’s very frustrating. Has anyone heard of a fix? I really don’t wanna have to go to an Apple Store to sit and wait for hours on end until somebody could help me.

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro to a 16 pro max and my beats after I disconnect them won’t reconnect unless I reboot my phone. It’s really obnoxious because I haven’t had time to order a new adapter for wired so I can get around this.

Still having a problem with Bluetooth not connecting to car have given up as it isn’t going to work till Apple look at the problem , I have been through all the usual fixes at least my libre sensor stays connected now

Yup, my phone connected seamlessly the the update came along and now every time I get in my car I have to forget the connection, delete my phone from the devices. Even then I keep getting unsuccessful pairing messages and then my car doesn’t show as an available device. But it shows every freaking device in my neighborhood.

Same problem. My car won’t connect, my speaker keeps going on and off Bluetooth, my watch is still paired but I haven’t tried anything fancy with it, and my AirPods sometimes connect but it’s usually after many times of taking them out of the case and putting g them back.

iPhone 16 Pro Max running 18.1.1 fails to connect to a custom BLE device my company is producing. iPad M4 and iPhone SE Gen3 connect fine (also using 18.1.1)

Just updated to iOS 18.2. iPhone 16 Pro Max still fails to connect.

Upgraded to 16 pros from 13’s. Bad experience so far.

Worked hard to get it setup.

Now BT is not connecting to my devices.

Have done all the published steps on you tube.

Is there a fix to this yet? We have our old phones still, so should we just return the 16’s?

Been having the same issues, my Sony WH1000-XM4’s don’t even show up on my new IPhone 16 or old IPhone 12 mini so I’m stuck with using my 12 mini with a cable… First time I have had major issues with Apple products…

Why hasn’t this been fixed yet? The distortion is annoying and the dropped audio during a call while using my Bluetooth headphones is troubling. I had a city fire marshal saying hello you still there almost immediately after starting our conversation. Please fix this asap Apple
