Transferring data and apps from old iPhone to new iPhone

i have Verizon prepay plan..can I transfer data and apps from iPhone 7+ to new iPhone 15 without activating? I need to go into Verizon store and want as much done as possible before I arrive

How do I transfer data from iPhone 15 to iPhone 13? i have to send new 15 back to Verizon for exchange but was told I needed to transfer everything to my 13. Then remove everything from 15 so it will be clean to return. Can you tell me how to do it. I have to use my 13 til I pick a new one. Thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Yes, as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection→Transfer data from your previous iOS or iPadOS device to your new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
