Apparently my phone was sent this morning…but when I check the tracking status on the UPS site, it says label created, UPS has not received package yet…..the tracking status hasn’t changed since. Did UPS take my package? Can the phone be traced or at least can tell if someone else activated it? I’m hoping it just comes tomorrow and maybe I’m worrying for nothing….

Apple (and every other online business) will report the phone shipped as soon as the label is created, which is before the carrier picks up the package. Even after the package is picked up, it won’t show up until the package gets an initial scan, which can be up to a day later, considering that every pickup requires scanning thousands of packages. So by the end of the day tomorrow you will know more.
Based on that info, UPS still has not received the package from Apple. A tracking number is created the instant a label is created (even before it is printed). UPS info is not always real time, so give it time to update.
