AirPods Pro 2 & notch therapy to help tinnitus symptoms?

I suffer from tonal tinnitus, with mild to moderate hearing loss, and was excited to hear that the AirPods Pro 2 are being classified as OTC hearing aids now. One question I have, has Apple announced if they could support any tinnitus relief applications or settings? Masking apps already exist, but if iOS could have a Notch Therapy mode, this could help up to 60% of all tinnitus sufferers manage their symptoms.

Can AirPods be tuned by my audiologist for my hearing correction? I have some hearing loss and use hearing aids. Since then I really miss having AirPods in noisy settings to I can cut down the background noise and continue listing to music, a phone call, or a podcast. Such as while riding the train or a bus, or inside a building with a crowd blabbering nearby. You can’t always find a ‘quite’ place to listen. As far as I can tell there is no way to allow my audiologist to ‘tune’ AirPods for my hearing correction. Is Apple working on that? Will it happen some day soon?

Hearing aids. More volume. At a noisy restaurant, my five-year-old Oticon hearing aids provide higher volume, but at the expense of very poor background noise suppression. Conversation is difficult to discern. On the other hand, the AirPods Pro 2 are able to nicely reduced background noise, but don’t provide enough volume when set at 100% for me. If you could add somewhat greater volume to the AirPod Pro 2’s, but maintain close to your degree of background noise suppression this would be a great help to me. I have mild to moderate hearing loss at 43-39. Yes, I tried conversation boost, but this doesn’t cut it. The volume obtainable while listening to music and media is much greater than what your hearing aids function offers. Thanks.

AirPod Pros hearing aid function as a tool to help those without hearing loss understand those with hearing loss I have dealt with hearing loss my whole life, and I am so excited about the new AirPod pro hearing aid feature. I’ve been using it and it is excellent. One thing that I have struggled with my whole life is explaining to friends and family what it is like to have hearing loss… because it is so much more than just a lower level of hearing. It’s more like how people with eyesight loss have varied prescriptions, but in terms of hearing. I would LOVE a feature/tool where I could have others wear the AirPods and hear what life sounds like to me. Pretty much would be a backwards hearing aid, so that others could walk a mile in my shoes. I can’t figure out where an Apple suggestion box is, so I figured I would post this here.
