My lockscreen widget for snapchat randomly changed from it's normal render to just a blank render saying "log in" I've tried to fix it including:
Restarting my phone
Logging in and out of snapchat
Deleting snapchat's app cache
Deleting and reinstalling snapchat
So far nothing has worked and this has been going on for multiple days now, does anyone know how to fix this

Making this post because I've seen a lot of people comment now that they're having the same issue.
Friendly advice, ignore Kurtosis12, he doesn't know what he's talking about and most likely an apple fan crying because someone said apple did something wrong.
The only thing we can really do while we have this problem is wait for apple to roll out an update that reverts the change they made probably with the increased the customisability for the bottom lockscreen buttons that has broken widgets for many apps, not just snapchat. Or wait for snapchat to release an update that makes their widgets compatible for whatever change IOS 18 has introduced. Unfortunately, either way is just a waiting game.
And Kurtosis, You don't need to come back and comment the same thing for a fifth time now, snapchat support does not have a channel for this issue, there is no use in contacting them because they only have automated support lines which do not cover this. Please find a better way to spend your time, maybe touch some grass.

I had the same problem, If you have customised your home screen and you have the tint turned on The Snapchat widget won’t work It’ll just be a grey or white square
If you want someone to fix the bug then contact Snapchat. The problem lies in their software, not the phone.
Hey everyone! I just recently got the brand new phone (iPhone 16 pro) and I have the same issue as everyone else, this is completely on snapchats software and nothing to do with Apple. From what I’ve read since the release of iOS 18, Snapchat has yet to release an update that accommodates to the new update Apple has put out. For now we are unfortunately all stuck in the same boat. So if you are currently facing any issues with Snapchat widgets, it is everyone at the moment
Hey! Same thing happening with me, I actually even called Apple and spoke to a agent first and they transferred me over to an engineer and she told me to contact Snapchat (I had said I already did) as they said it’s nothing to do with Apple/iOS. She basically told me to wait for either an Apple iOS update or a Snapchat update.
Contact Snapchat and ask them, this is not an Apple product.

The problem lies in Snapchat not updating their software to be compatible with the new operating system. It is not up to Apple to fix glitches in third party software.
Couldn’t be said any better, it’s not a snap issue it’s a glitch with the widgets and the new official iOS 18, I’ve been seeing this issue with other widgets too.
I think it's common sense to contact snapchat support about their own app, and I have already done so before posting, they do not have a support channel relating to this.
This was not an issue pre IOS 18, so that's where the problem probably lies.
I’ve had the same problem for the last few days , i’ve tried everything to fix it , i’ve restarted my phone, deleted snapchat , i’ve contacted apple and they couldn’t help and i’ve tried to contact snapchat but you just get an automated response which is no help
I just started having this issue, and it’s freaking annoying especially since I thought it was smth with my phone, so I uninstalled the app, deleted my secondary acc on the app, relogged in like 3-4 times, shut down my phone and power it back on. I’m happy to know this is a universal issues and that I didn’t just f*** up my phone lol
why does my snapchat widget keeps disappearing and only way i can get it is by deleting the app but then when i download again snap the snap widget apears for a minute and then dissapears and not showing me the widget
