Unable to download ios18 for iphone 12

I’m unable to download ios 18 even if I have enough space, it is asking to have 14.71gb of free space to download.

this is not allowing me to download ios 18

You don't have enough space and 14.71 GB is not really enough either since your phone would have zero space available after the update.

20 GB would be about the minimum to move forward.

That is too close to having enough space for an iOS installation. You will need to have at least 20GB free to download, verify and install the iOS properly on your iPhone.

I recommend that you use a computer to update the iOS on your iPhone manually. Learn how to update your device manually 👉 if you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or 👉 if you're using a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC.
