Brand New iPhone 16 Missing Paperwork in the Box

I have just got my new iPhone 16 (order from Apple Store Online) yesterday and noticed there is no paperwork inside the box which it used to. I am aware of the new package does not include Apple stickers anymore but not sure about the basic paperwork. Before unboxing I have confirmed the external package as well as the package that contains the iPhone are sealed.

Not a deal breaker but seeing the other unboxing videos/reviews they all seem to come with the paperwork, and I was wondering if mine just somehow gone missing during the packaging process.

iPhone 16, iOS 18

So you’re talking about the 2 oval papers (there is absolutely no product guide included and has not been in years)…not documentation but one stiffer paper that says iPhone the front and a message about no longer needing a physical SIM card and the other one that has tiny words such as telling you to view the user guide online for virtually everything. And not receiving these made you wonder if you got a returned device (which you absolutely would not have as Apple does not sell returns as new devices again)? I mean….if not having those 2 paper items is causing you enough concern to think your device was a return you could easily take advantage of the return/exchange period. It would be an odd reason to go through the hassle of restoring the device you have to factory and going through the process of setting up another iPhone but if it gives you peace of mind it might be worth it for you. But no “product guide” exists in those 2 tiny paper items. No real documentation in the sense of providing a record of the iPhone or identifiable information is included.

I know what your intent was with this response but a lot of new cars don’t come with a physical user manual now (customers are being told they can view the pdf manual online or via the cars app and some cars have a digital version of it accessible on their infotainment screen under settings or the app that the system can access). The 2 oval papers you are asking about literally are not important but if you are within the return/exchange period and it is a big enough issue for you then by all means take advantage of the opportunity. Or…access the user manual the way you have had to for many years now…online via the Apple website. And of course, you could contact Apple directly to see if they can send you the 2 oval papers (worst case scenario…they tell you that they can’t).

is any issue if we purchase japan model iPhone 16 pro max ? i am in Saudi Arabia just wanna confirm thou.
i just opened my box and i didn't receive 2 oval shape user manual either!

You also posted this in your thread about this phone, which will have no warranty in Saudi Arabia (just so you know), but there is NO user manual supplied by Apple in ANY iPhone box. The two little oval pieces of paper you are fretting over are meaningless and provide no value whatsoever.

Exactly but the point is why are they missing from mine

Since no one here packaged your new phone before it was sealed and shipped, we can't answer that question. As long as the phone was sealed and you had to use the pull tabs on the underside to open the box, the useless two pieces of paper, just may have been omitted. They are truly worthless and won't help in you any way to use or enjoy your phone.

Same here, I just bought a brand new iPhone 16 pro max from Apple Store and noticed that the documentation is missing . Makes me wonder are these the ones which were returned or is it just that they forgot to put it during manufacturing as the box was sealed.

I'm not sure what documentation you were expecting, but all you get is the phone, the cable and that's pretty much it. What were you expecting?
