Can I delay payment for my iPhone 16 order?

Today I bought the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the estimated date is between October 15 and 22. I understand that the money will be withdrawn from my account once the shipping process begins, my question is what happens if I don't have money in my account on the day I am charged?

Delay in online purchases Hey, I purchased an iPhone 13 online on oct 5th to pickup at store next day but it's still in processing after 10 days! I called apple several times and got no reason for delay, I visited pickup store and they referred me to call apple again! could I ask why apple website showing next day pickup before payment and after that the item is not ready to pickup? it was a gift to my wife and it has no value anymore! When they try to process the payment and it can't go through, they'll probably cancel the order, though it's possible that they'll contact you to ask for a different payment method. You can contact the Apple Store and ask if that's what will happen.
