iMac M1 very slow boot up

My iMac M1 takes around 3-4 minutes to boot up. I installed the latest OS installed (Sequoia 15.0) but this made no difference. Items that open at login are CleanMyMac X, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google LLC and Microsoft Auto Update. Could it be anything to do with these?

I would appreciate any advice.

Thank You.

1) You do not need or want CleanMyMac installed on your iMac.

Uninstall it as per the developers directions.

2) Yes startup items can slowdown the startup process.

see > Remove login items to resolve startup problems on your Mac - Apple Support

3) Connected external USB drives and other devices can also slow the startup process.

Disconnect any external drives and test startup.

Then reconnect them one at a time and re-test.

4) To get and give a good snapshot of your hardware and installed software.

Download and run the free version of EtreCheckPro, from > https://etrecheck.com/en/index.html
