Notes won't centre align after macOS Sequoia

I have upgraded to macOS Sequoia and tables will not centre text - both new and old Notes

Instead of centring, the text left aligns

As a heavier user of Notes, this is quite a frustrating issue

Anybody experiencing the same problem and any tips to fix?

I have real trouble getting it not to center text but to keep it centered on closing & opening, it's quite iffy.
