New Stickers Disappear Immediately (iOS 18 Messages App)

I have an IPhone 15 Pro Max and having the same issue with stickers disappearing as soon as I create a new one. The issue started when I downloaded the new update IOS 18.1. I think that is the issue and not the phone itself.

My stickers are back as soon as I did today’s update (not mentioning the keyword that deletes the comment). I created a new one as well and it did not disappeared like before. Nice! Just be patient. A couple more updates will do the trick for you.

same thing. I can create and send it to a conversation by copy/pasting. But it never saved in my stickers collection. Also I have problem with emojis. Look at the screenshot… I find nothing to solve my problem. I Think it’s a technical issue from 

The Apple Stickers within the emoji pallet on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, with iOS 18.3.2, sometimes appear for text messages, but it is random, and I cannot identify the reason for this inconsistent systemic performance. There is an annoying bug in this iteration of the iOS 18. It appears like the Apple Intelligence Playground app is not playing well with others.

Do please make sure you report the issue to Apple. I have! Unless people do it will not hit their radar to fix it.

It’s in iCloud then manage storage. And for me it’s down at the bottom of the page.

I understand that 18.2 is supposed to fix it.

in general, keyboard, then on the bottom it has stickers, send stickers from the emoji keyboard . i turned it off, stickers worked, then i turned it back on and they continued to work

Seems many of us have the same issue. Only adding that after switching from an iPhone 13 (stickers worked fine) to an iPhone 16, the stickers did not work regardless of the OS. Initially, my 16 was not upgraded to iOS 18. Tried to make & use stickers before and after the software update. No dice. They just appear for about a second then disappear. Hope this gets fixed soon. Maybe when the Apple AI starts rolling out?

I updated my back up iPhone XR from IOS 16.4.1 to iOS 18 with my no problems which is shocking, I won't install iOS 18 on my iPhone 14 due to last year with IOS 17.2.1. my iPhone 14 had issues connecting to cellular network, which drove me crazy, I will wait for IOS 18.0.1.

Stickers disappear and markup tools have similar problems. This looks like a large problem and I still cannot find a fix or any suggestions from Apple regarding this. Maybe the fix might be tied to the release of AI and if and if so, the Apple team really dropped the ball here.

Why the silence?

Same issue here. Brand new iPhone 16 Pro and the stickers disappear immediately after I make them. Completely unusable. I did not have this issue on my iPhone 13 Pro. I also do not have this issue on my iPad Air.

Same here! From iPhone 13 Pro to 16 pro. All self made stickers missing, and making new ones have them just disappear in an instant.

all still working well on my iPad.

also, Universal Clipboard and handoff had issues, but seems to work now.

edit: ping my Apple Watch isn’t working either. Can ping my phone via watch tho.

I have similar/same issue updated iPhone 15 pro to iOS18 & lost all my stickers and any new ones disappear a second after they are made. Stickers are there on iPad. Very frustrating I don’t want to have to do a factory reset for this, it seems like the nuclear option. Come on Apple it looks like this problem has been going on for ages for some back on ios17 we pay way too much on our phones for these sort of features not to work! Surely it can’t be that hard to fix!!!

I guess I don’t love the sticker feature enough to jump through these hoops with logging back into every app, setting up wallet again and waiting for all iCloud indexing to start again.
