I am using iPhone 13 and recently I have updated to iOS 18.0. Since that day, maps are showing blank on the car when I connect through the Apple CarPlay, and a message is displayed after a few minutes on the car screen stating the location information is not available. When I start the car immediately maps are turning to blank on the car display.

What brand of wireless adapter did you buy and what model
Wireless is built into my car already. Honestly, I’d buy an Android phone before I’d jump through that kind of hoop to make CarPlay work properly again.
Try restarting your audio in your car. It works for me!
I found a fix I bought a Otto u2 air pro wireless adapter and it has fixed the problem
I turned off VPN on iPhone and CarPlay connected by usb lead is now working again

sadly I have this issue on 2019 chevy equinox and vocal shortcuts was already off. :o(
