iPhone 16 Pro Max lagging after iOS 18 Update

After 3 weeks this iPhone 16 is far too hot to hold against my ear and the battery is still dropping like a stone in water. I also click on the login box and a white rectangle appears- what’s that? Lags terribly.

Apple when are you going to fix these issues?

when is someone from Apple going to get onto this platform and address everyone’s concerns?

Wasn’t this noticed in the beta version?

Not a long term solution , it will work fine for a couple of days . But as long as two days it will start lagging again.

it has something to do woth touch response , and siri , and dictation.

But this will be temp solutions until proper fix is made , if its ever made

There is an update available that is supposed to fix this

iOS 16 Pro Max is on iOS 18 and not on iOS 16. Please re-check

it's incrementally better after i updated to 16.0.1, but apps like News crash occasionally and battery life could be better.

I had a iPhone 13 and change it for a iPhone 13 Pro Max. It was the worst mistake of my life. It’s look like an old cellphone. Just freezing all the time

Hi I fixed my lagging issue after days of frustration.

reset your mobile

dont transfer anything from old phone or icloud. Just go fresh then this issue will not come 👌

I have heard people that did not restore from an iCloud backup are having fewer issues. That sounds like a problem for Apple to fix. I won’t keep using a phone that performs this poorly.

so do we just have to wait for an update these guys have a whole year to perfect this and it still crashes it's crazy

There are many fixes , to me network reset did nothing , but reset dictinary did fix a lag , so , yeah , it all proved that its software issue not a hrdware issue , at least that is a good thing
