Unable to remove previous WiFi networks on iPhone SE

I have an iPhone SE (2016) operating with IOS15. I travel a lot. And so I have joined many wifi networks over the years. But I can't find any way to access, delete or forget them. There must be over a hundred networks that I'll never use again and they're clogging up my phone.

Before I wipe the phone and start again... or worse, throw it in the bin, does anyone know how I can access my previous wifi network list? Better still...Delete/Forget them!?

Reset Network Settings ONLY removes Wi-Fi networks, it doesn’t affect the contents of your phone. So your contacts, apps, photos, etc will still be there. The only inconvenience is you will need the network password for any networks you still want to use.

Another option, if you have a Mac that shares an iCloud ID with your phone, right click on the Wi-Fi “fan” in the menu bar, then Wi-Fi Settings, then click the Advanced button. This will list all of the networks you have connected to. Click on the ⋯⃝ next to each one and you can delete it from the list. This will sync to your iPhone.
