iPhone 16 Pro Freezes and Restarts

My iPhone 16 Pro 256gb was fine yesterday. This morning, it has been crashing constantly. The settings app and the calendar app are the worst culprits. Calendar just freezes, you cannot drill down to the day. The settings app just turns black and then crashes. Multiple times the whole phone restarts. I tried a hard restart to see if it was a cache issue. Didn't help. I turned off the wifi and that seemed to slightly help when using other apps. One time the settings app worked and I went to see the analytics logs. Lots of crashes in there and 1 kernel panic. Also, Siri is not responding; just hangs there with no response.

I spent 3 days transferring all the apps from my iPhone 13 Pro and do NOT want to reset it again. Getting an authenticator app configured with all my accounts takes hours. This is very disappointing.

Anyone have any thoughts or proven solutions? Thank you in advance.

Everything is working perfectly after I reset my replacement phone to factory settings and set it up as a new phone rather than restoring from iCloud backup. Since everything is synced to iCloud anyways and most things work cloud-based, I really haven't had any issues or felt like I missed anything. On the contrary, my phone has been working perfectly without any issues whatsoever. Must be some sort of issue with iCloud Backups. Very happy to have found a solution to this incredibly annoying issue.

Agree . We have IPhone 16 Plus & Max . Couldn’t send text on one to Android & the other needed 3 Reboots to start in a week . Discouraging

Mine has not rebooted since my post here, at least that I know of anyway.

I have reached out to Apple support and they suggested to visit the service center.. Will update here on what apple technician in service center says..

One week now, replaced my iPhone with a Pixel 9 Pro and it has been AMAZING.

Bought 16 pro & max . Issues with both I’m disgusted! Next phone Android & another carrier besides Verizon! Keeps locking up & I have to shut off . I don’t do anything fancy either

Same for me. Just bought 16 pro max now 2024! Constantly having to restart due to apps freezing.

I switched despite buying a brand new 16 pro. Now it sits in a box. VERY happy with the Pixel Pro replacement.

Heb ook de 16 pro, hij loopt vast, is traag, touchscreen werkt niet altijd en de telefoon valt regelmatig de verbinding uit.

het is een drama heb veel spijt dat ik deze heb gekocht
