I have a series 8 watch on watchos 11 and iPhone 14Pro on ios 18. very now and then the pedometer complication (bottom left) turns itself of for no discernible reason. This does not happen with the other complications. Any suggestions?

To my knowledge, Apple doesn't provide a native steps complication. Therefore, I'm guessing this complication comes from a third-party app. I'd suggest you delete the app from your watch and phone an then reinstall it. If it still gives you problems, contact the app developer.
