Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16

just upgrade to the iphone 16 pro and bluetooth is stuttering with any devices, and doesn’t want to connect 90% of the time. Carplay, Garnin, Headphones.

I’ve tried turning off bluetooth, hard reset on the phone and still no luck….

Found the problem, if you guys did choose to setup your iphone from a backup or from your old iphone then you all will get the dame issue, if you did setup as a new iphone then you wouldnt have gotten the bluetooth issue, there is a fix, just go to Settings-General and then scroll down to reset iPhone and then choose Reset network setting, after that phone wil reboot and your Bluetooth will work as it should be!

As suggested in another post, I contacted Apple support at 800-692-7753. I had tried all of the other things suggest up through network reset, so they had me do a "restore" of the software to factory settings (download took about 30 minutes via a computer). Everything is still on my phone and Bluetooth is now working.

I’ve had issues using Bluetooth with my iPhone 12 when I had it. It was doing very similar things as to what my iPhone 16 pro is doing now. Like switching from my car radio to my headphones or vice versa. It’ll make it sound like the audio is almost underwater or radio quality. The only way I found to fix this is reconnecting the device. Or not switching back n forth. I have to shut off one of the devices completely for this glitch to not happen. I also have to repair a specific set of earbuds I have every time I want to use them. Very annoying this happened to my iPhone 12 when it had a version of iOS 15 as well. I’m hoping they’ll fix these issues with updates if not this is very embarrassing for apple. we’re all having these issues! Sorry this wasn’t a solution but I’m hoping it’s the explanation.

I was having the same issue with a JBL6 and BOSE mini link. So I tried plugging them too each other to see if it would and it did not work thru the usb, BUT after plugging the usb-c into both the JBL to the iPhone the device recognized it on Bluetooth.

I retrieved the Bose and when the device told me it would require too much battery I unplugged it and it now can connect to them both. Hope this helps!!

> What did the manufacturer of this device suggest when you hopefully contacted them about your issue? It's more likely an issue with the device, than an issue with your phone.

The device works perfectly with my iPhone 15 and an Android device.

I normally don't need to spend time troubleshooting iPhone's Bluetooth, but have previous year's new iPhone releases generated 12+ pages of forum Bluetooth issues as people try to use their new phones?
