Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16 Pro

This solution was also told yesterday by a support employee from Apple.

The before that you can try to hard restart your iPhone.

If your reset your network settings all your know wifi networks are wiped.

Same issue, "Pairing Unsuccessful" with all of my Bluetooth devices (Soundcore P20i, Bose QuietComfort headphones, Bose SoundLInk Flex speaker). Upgraded from iPhone X which never had ANY bluetooth issues to the iPhone 16 Pro which now won't connect to my devices. Even the BT connection to my Apple Watch is spotty. It will ring on phone and watch (after a delay) and then when I answer the call on the phone the watch continues ringing! Come on Apple, get your act together. Not sure if this is an iOS 18 problem or specific to the iPhone 16. In any case, it's annoying and making me regret the "upgrade".

Just upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the 16 and always have to manually connect this phone to CarPlay

iPhone 11 would auto recognize and re-connect no problem, but the 16 forces me to open Settings -> Bluetooth and connect on each and every ignition event.

I have Jabro Pro 7 buds and samsung buds 3 and both get continously dropped . calls get dropped, when phone rings, the ear buds do not connect but worked perfectly on my Samsung S23 ...Iphone 16 Pro Max, no such luck. $2500 phone not so smart. Affecting my business, I am on the phone ALOT>

Having Bluetooth reconnection issues with my 2022 Toyota Prius and iPhone 16 pro. Oddly Bluetooth worked fine with iOS 18 and my iPhone 13 pro. Upon restarting car the phone cycles through phone disconnected and phone connected. I have more luck if I unlock phone and start playing audio manually.

This didn't work for me. It only remove my wifi setting, but all my bluetooth settings are not reset.

And I always cannot connect to my e-bike. The other devices are almost OK, but I have some trouble after severals minutes of use

This works for a period of time, but then the issue starts again. Seems like a few hours or so after I restart my phone, bluetooth will start cutting out and then ultimately won't connect to any devices again until I restart the phone.

have had bluetooth connection issues since iphone 13. keeps dropping. this is not a pairing issue. i'm using airpods and the most recent hardware. very irritating. one would expect an expensive phone and seasoned software to work. i've been with apple since the beginning. in the last 10 years its gotten progressively crappy. i think this is my last iphone.

Same here.... I got an iPhone 16 max pro, & this phone won't connect to my 2024 Honda CRV via Bluetooth at ALL! This is SOO FRUSTRATING! Oh & btw, I also have an Oral B io8 brush; not connecting either, yet on my old iPhone 11 Pro Max, both devices connect no problem. APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS SH*T! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!

the Verizon store personnel did the transfer from my 13 pro to my 16 pro max and the Bluetooth will not connect to my car it just spins. It connects to my watch but won’t connect to my car. Is there a fix yet. It sounds like others are having same problem

I think I have a similar problem connecting my iPhone 16 Pro to my Subaru Outback 2022 infotainment system with Bluetooth. The sound breaks up, then the phone disconnects and then car cannot find it. Works fine with a usb cable. The dealer’s service manager's 4 year old iPhone connected no problem.

Thank you!!!! This was exactly what I needed. The online directions for my Bluetooth speaker weren’t a lot of help, but I got it fixed. Who knew Bluetooth devices had so many modes. I thought it was just one.

I have been trying the recommended solutions and they do not resolve the Bluetooth connection problem for my new iPhone 16 pro. Has Apple provided any assistance? I am now using CarPlay with a usb connection. This is giving me much better audio for my auto infotainment system than I ever had with Bluetooth.

I spent my entire Sunday on the phone with Apple, they tried their same voodoo as you, told me to take it back to the AT&T store and have them replace it. They do not want to admit that it’s an iOS issue.

How is it possible that they still haven't released an update to fix the Bluetooth problem? We're talking about Apple and a new iPhone. I've done everything I can think of and it doesn't work. It's frustrating.
