just upgrade to the iphone 16 pro and bluetooth is stuttering with any devices, and doesn’t want to connect 90% of the time. Carplay, Garnin, Headphones.
I’ve tried turning off bluetooth, hard reset on the phone and still no luck….

Interesting! Are you talking about the "Bringing Devices Together" toggle under "Start Sharing By," at Settings → AirDrop, or was it something else?
I'll have to play with this. (If I recall correctly, iOS 18 added "Tap to Cash," etc., right? Maybe that setting was changed to on by default to support new features like that, when they involve holding two phones together.)
Exact same for me works for a while, could be a week or more but then starts to “fail to connect” until i reboot, then starts working again
It work good for 20 minute on my car, and after that it is impossible to keep connection more than 1 minute without crash connection.
On my AirPods it’s more stable, but I have crash too
My e-bike, I cannot connect at all. It crash immediately then « connect » but no function work. So I think the iPhone is connected but cannot share data with the bike.
I tried to remove all device, reboot, reset network settings, nothing fix my issue ..
In my case, the iPhone 16pro has a problem with the Bluetooth connection in the Opel Insignia B car. It seems to connect to the pair, but after a second it disconnects. Apple's solution that works for repair. Maybe you have an idea for this place?
Upgraded my iPhone 16 pro max to iOS 18.0.1 but still cannot connect via bluetooth to my Richo GRIII camera and Omron device. They were fine with iPhone 15 pro max and I have tried resetting network settings on iPhone 16. Fortunately CarPlay and the iWatch bluetooth connections seem reliable.
Experiencing same here. Upgraded to a Pro 16 512GB (non-Max) from a 13 non-Pro. Rarely had issues if ever with BT connections on my 13. Yesterday I was trying to stream some music in my car wirelessly using BT and was getting static and random start/stop. Never was an issue with old phone.
Just now was trying to watch IG reels and YouTube via my Bose QC45 headphones, and gotthe same crap. Again this never happened with my 13.
i am not resetting my network as I do not want to lose all my wifi login info. Apple needs to fix this crap. Running 18.0.1 as well.
On iPhone 16 a device keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth. On my iPhone 12 Pro Max the same device has solid Bluetooth connection.
This iPhone 16 cost me $1377 in cdn dollars.

I'm still having trouble with Bluetooth connectivity with my new 16pro, even with all of the suggestions and multiple options. My airpods and carplay have it mostly figured out, as well as a speaker I use for work. But NONE of my echo dots will connect properly. A few of them won't connect at all, but the ones I do get the phone to recognize, it won't connect to via the Bluetooth settings on the phone - I have to ask Alexa to make the connection and, even then, it only manages to connect about 50% of the time. My home is so quiet rn. I'm sad and I can't figure out what to do. My 13pro had zero of these issues.
I upgraded from a 13 to a 16. 13 worked fine. I can't get 16 to keep a bluetooth connection for more than a second. I've removed and readded the device about a dozen times. Had 3 Apple support people walk me through steps that don't work. I don't want to lose all my wifi passwords since that doesn't seem to help. I don't want a phone that doesn't work. Apple needs to fix this now.
It’s a hit or miss scenario.
Some of my Bluetooth Audio devices like wireless speakers and headphones work.
But others. Like my Scosche Bluetooth Car stereo device have to manually connected each time. Scosche is blaming Apple.
My 16 pro max wont stay bluetooth connected to Shiftcam pro & Snapcam (photo attachments) If I do get them connected as soon as a few minutes it unpairs - they are still listed in my Bluetooth devices but if I try to reconnect them it says Pairing unsuccessful. Asks me to delete the device and re-pair it. In all my older 15, 14, 13 this never happened, just a few shutter clicks and the phone was taking pix with no fuss. I use these photo devices so much the 16 problems are making me nuts. Anyone have a real fix? Apple address your 16 bluetooth problems!
Get to the point where Bluetooth literally shuts off and won’t let me turn it back on on my phone. I paid more money for a phone with less features than most flagships because I thought the premium was for stability and reliability. This is definitely not a good look especially considering how Apple were the ones who pushed the market towards wireless connectivity making bluetooth a necessity instead of a feature. Deal with it already this should be #1 on the priority list RN
I upgraded from the iPhone 13 to the 16. My Luba 2 robot lawnmower will nat appear in the Bluetooth list. Mammotion (maker of Luba 2) says it’s an IOS issue but they don’t seem to have a work around yet.
I’m having the same issue with an Echo Studio. My son can connect to it with his Kindle but I, nor my wife, can connect with our iPhone 16 Pros. Strangely, the old phones stopped connecting too. Resetting network settings did not fix the issue.
I have spent hours every day for a week with Apple support and Verizon support. Nobody can fix this. Bluetooth and carplay just simply don't work on the iphone 16. and yes, I resent my network settings, lost all my passwords and it didn't help. I'm sorry I got the 16. it so far has been a total waste of time and money.
I am having major Bluetooth problems with my new iPhone 16 Pro. If I touch the phone, it changes the quality of the audio via CarPlay. Also, if I touch the phone, it has connectivity issues with the connection to Bluetooth headphones.
