iOS 18 - Private Browser will not lock

Hi, I've had locked private browsing enabled since it became a feature. I recently upgraded to iOS 18 and found that it will no longer lock even though the toggle is true in the Safari settings.

I have gone onto a website, closed out of safari, and gone back in and it does not work.

I have tried checking my screentime permissions, nothing. Touch ID is enabled (I have an SE).

I've also tried the classic turn it off and on again - both with the safari toggle and restarting my phone.

I should mention I also have one of those app blocker apps - Opal specifically. I turned off its permissions in screen time for this test.

Safari is also really slow to load and sort of glitchy...
