AMC+ subscription not working on Apple TV ?

I have a subscription to AMC+ through Apple. It has worked fine for a couple of years. Recently it has been acting funky. IE: A movie I had already begun watching the day before suddenly had a pay wall the next day. All day. The next day after that it was back to normal and I could play it. Now, I want to rewatch episodes of a show I had watched earlier in the week, and they are unavailable to me now. I thought it was just a hiccup. But on my TV they now have a pay wall,(going in through my Apple TV) and on my iMac the 3 most recent recent episodes don't even show up anymore. The TV version is prompting me to install the AMC+ app, but I already have AMC+ through Apple, so that makes no sense. My subscription is NOT with AMC+ it's through Apple. Help! This all started this week, and it is only effecting AMC+ channel, not Apple TV+ channel.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 18

If you see a “paywall”, then scroll down on that title’s Details page until you reach How to Watch, which should list all the currently available viewing options. Select the wanted option there. It should use that choice to update the link for a next time (else remove and re-add to Up Next). There may be options for buying or renting from the Store. There may be options for subscribing to a different service. There may be options for the Channel and the separate app.

Note that AMC+ has some titles for a limited time, even for their own produced content, and the time window for watching may possibly have passed for some title(s), notably when they start licensing their content to other streaming service providers.

① If you started the subscription in the Apple TV app, then your subscription is valid for the in-app channel of that name, not for the separate app. Subscribe to Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app - Apple Support.

② If you started the subscription in the AMC+ app on an Apple device, then your subscription is valid for the AMC+ app on any of your Apple devices (you may need to “Restore Purchases” on secondary devices or reset devices or devices with reinstalled app), not for the Apple TV app Channel.

③ If you started the subscription with AMC+ directly, then your subscription is valid for the AMC+ app on any device, after signing in with your AMC+ account.

These types of subscriptions have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations, and are not exchangeable as such.

These anomolies happen while I already have the Apple subscription app for AMC+ open. The problems are on indivdual selections, and are not app wide. First time it was with the "In A Violent Way" movie that I had started, and when I came back to it a day day later, the app wanted me to subscibe or pay in order to watch, but I already have a standing subscription. The day after that it was back to normal. And the most recent ones are the two most recent episodes in the "Horror Greats" series. I wanted to *rewatch* the two most recent episodes which were no more than a week old, so the "limited time" theory doesn't apply in my case. And I had already watched them once with no issues. I cannot see the "details" on the page when I select it because it jumps to an AMC+ page where I am prompted to select a free trial or to subscribe directly through AMC+. Again, I already have a valid and active AMC+ subscription though Apple. All the other selections I try work correctly. These paywall anomolies are on random indivual selections.
