I have created an iMovie and I would like to watch it on my TV. It is not an Apple tv but I do have a Roku device. Also I read something about having a iPhone adaptor that has an HDMI port to interface with a tv. Can I do this and what is the best way to do it?

Check to see if you Roku device supports Screen Mirroring. If so, you can display on your TV anything that you play on your iPhone screen.

Okay I am replying to my own question. After allot of research I have found that the easiest way is to purchase Lightning to Digital AV adaptor. And again after research I purchased one from Apple as in reading reviews some of the "Apple certified" ones either didn't work or didn't last so I spent the extra $ as didn't want to have another hurdle to cross. You just plug it into an HDMI port on your tv and voila your iMovie is able to be viewed and with a really good screen quality. Hope that this helps someone else.
The simplest way is to save your .mp4 video on a USB memory stick (formatted as FAT32 or NTFS) and plug it into the TV.
The iMovie is on my iPhone and how do I get it onto a USB stick? Also my TV does not have a USB port. So this doesn't sound like a simple way for me. Thank you anyway.

Actually, exFat rather than Fat32 is the recommended format for a thumb drive to be used on a TV.
