Locating Apple remote with iphone
I’m trying to locate my Apple TV remote and I recently updated the iPhone iOS. Now the iPhone is not controlling the tv or allowing me to locate the remote. Any suggestions to try?

Verify that the iPhone is connected to the same home network on Wi-Fi.
In the software remote widget on iPhone, tap the (default) Apple TV box that is found on your local network, to bring up the menu with possibly more units. Then use the ‘Find’ button on the right to help locate the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later) [A2540, A2854] that is paired to this Apple TV box.
This search uses Bluetooth, so it will only work for remotes within range. It will visually, audibly, and haptically indicate if you are getting further away or closer, and finally confirm when extremely close.
