The Apple support instructions say that both my iPhone and the Apple TV must have system upgrades of a minimum level. Both of mine meet those levels. It shows a graphic in the control center where you select the Apple TV remote, select the device, and beside that device name will be a find button.That find button does not appear on my iPhone at that place.

The remote has to be Siri Remote (2nd generation) or later (i.e. not the black one).
The remote needs to be paired to the Apple TV box. Unpaired remotes can’t be found this way.
The remote needs to have firmware 0x83 (2023-09) or later. (Check Settings with the software remote.)
The remote has to be within bluetooth range of the iPhone and Apple TV box.
The remote needs to have enough battery charge to send a bluetooth signal that can be received by the iPhone.
Do you think all those conditions are met?

Cannot find Apple TV remote
