How can I stop my Beats Studio Pro from pulling my hair?

I have been using these on and off since Feb 2024. Bout them for myself as a birthday present, and right off the bat these headphones started claiming chunks of my hair when I take them off. For that reason I stopped using them for a few months.

In recent times I have come back to them and was quickly reminded of what they claim from my head upon removal. I have found forums on Reddit, etc stating the same thing from multitudes of others. One person suggested hair ties around where the cups meet the frame, which works maybe half the time.

Has ANYONE arrived on a better fix for these? To boot, the designer they paired up with for these (Samuel Ross) is bald/ and or shaves his head. I absolutely believe that these headphones were designed and tested by people with short hair.

Can I wear a hat? Yes. Can I tie my hair back? Yes. Do I want to EVERY TIME I use these headphones? NO.

I do love the sound quality and everything else about them, but I don't think getting scalped is worth it.

Thanks to anyone with answers!

I'm sorry but this answer doesn't help me or anyone else, and directs a faulty design back on me by throwing a return policy in the mix.

Yes I used them once after I bought them. I have a 3 year old and don't have a lot of time to myself to enjoy them. After first chunk was taken they went back in the bag to be "dealt with later". Life circumstances happen and they were forgotten about, among many other things with a toddler in the mix.

I came here to see if anyone had a better solution other than hair ties around the cup points. Not for someone to cite a well known return policy. If I want to rid myself of them, they will depart my life through eBay.

Thankssssss!
