iPhone 16 Pro Max's camera crashing after taking a photo

are y’all’s cameras crashing after taking a photo on you 16 pro max?

it fixes it to restart the phone. They and the touch is super laggy, missing prompts and slow.

hoping it’s just bugs in the IOS

Camera crashing on iPhone 13 mini IOS 17.5.1 The camera app crashes when I press the button to take a photo. Upon the button push, the photo is not taken and the app freezes sometimes. Other times the screen goes black and the app quits altogether. The only immediate fix is to restart the phone. But, the crashing problem keeps coming back. Any ideas?

Camera of my iPhone 16 Pro keeps crashing My camera is crashing by every single use. Update didn't solved the issue, nor the fact, that Apple already changed my iPhone 16 Pro after 4 days, and the new phone has the same issue. Please advise. This phone definitely not worth $1200 without a working camera. I like to know how Apple wants to rectify the situation and compensate me, as I was spending already 8 hours in Apple stores, to try to fix there faulty phones. Shameful. I am really disappointed. This camera freezing, having to hard reset glitch is nerve racking. I’ve tried to take the same photo 3 times.

pulled out my iPhone 13 to take it no problem.

were is the 18.0.1 to address this?

I have same issue. I have to restart this phone to use my camera. This is a painful experience.

I have the same issue. Having to restart the phone takes away the benefit of the camera button and the spontaneity of being able to shoot a photo straight from the Lock Screen.

This happened to mine too. I live in Canada so it will be impossible to take pictures outside for 6 months of the year! Not acceptable. It’s why I bought this phone. So disappointed.
