Apple Watch series 9 swim

I thought this experience of swimming in the Apple Watch may be of interest to those yet to use this feature.

No reason to expect otherwise but the watch worked as normal.

Watches were used for pool swims or snorkelling in the sea. These were gentle swims.

On one occasion over the course of a week there was a slightly different noise when ejecting water but no leakage was felt and the performance of the watch did not change and has not in the week after daily swimming.

When starting a pool swim the default is a standard 25 metre pool but you can decrease/increase depending on the pool size. Next time you start a pool swim workout it shows the length you set. Not sure how but it had split the workout into kickboard and breaststroke.

Open swim worked and tracked the route.

Workouts were easy to start and finish. When in the water you could see progress in the workout on the screen by flicking your wrist (in the water) and unlocking at the end was easy
