hello friends
I have 16 promax and after updating to version 18.1 I didn't have the option to record phone calls.
First, set the region to United King.
Then in the Siri section, set the language to English UK.
Now go to the phone section, you will see that the record call option has been added to your menu.

-I simply changed region from US to UK in settings -> General -> Language & Region -> Region

-issue resolved

-changed back to US

-GG

(in my case the icon was present during the initial call and it was disappearing as soon as call was answered)

same issue was resolved with iPhone 15Pro

Change region to India

This option is not available yet.

For this issue you can go settings-general-language & region to change US or UK.

Ah, I see! Just a quick question—are you on the beta version of iOS 18, or is it the public release that’s available to everyone? It could simply be a bit buggy at the moment. Features like call recording might be available later on once Apple irons out the kinks in a future patch. In the meantime, you could screenshot or even screen record the issue and send it directly to Apple through their Feedback app. That way, they can take a closer look. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Yap! it works but the call recording option shows after 10 to 20 seconds by itself we cann't start by ourself

mu phone 16 pro max is updated to new version but still not showing call recording option kindly help me

still I’m unable to see the call recording option even yesterday i have already updated the latest official version of IOS 18.1, im using the iphone 14 pro max.

Will anybody help me on this please or i will wait for the next update.
